Workshop Series on Characterizing Microbiome Diversity

The UCI Microbiome Initiative is pleased to announce two hands-on workshops this Winter quarter. Together, the workshops will cover the basics of sample preparation for sequencing taxonomic markers from environmental or host-associated microbiomes. Short presentations will give an overview of the methods, and participants will carry out the techniques in the lab.

Each workshop will be held twice, please indicate your preferred date. Registration is free and includes lunch, but space is extremely limited.

Location: All workshops will meet in Biological Sciences 3 room 3011. Parking is $10 per vehicle and available in Lot 16. Purchase parking permit at Lot 16 kiosk (Directions).
